EXPANSION IN AMERICAS – WAVES GROUP APPOINTS ALLAN SCHULTZ TO LEAD OPERATIONS IN HOUSTON
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Allan Schultz as Waves Group’s representative to service operations in the Americas. Our new operations in Houston will further expand our core capabilities in casualty response, FFO damage, salvage and wreck and marine warranty surveys. This will build on the successes of our global expansion campaigns – the opening of our Rotterdam office and the expansion of our team in Singapore.
Allan has over 37 years industry experience as a Naval Architect, Civil Structural Engineer, and Marine Surveyor investigating maritime casualties involving fixed and floating object (FFO) and vessel collisions. He is recognized as an expert witness in US Federal Courts of New Orleans, LA and Houston, TX for without prejudice damage quantum surveys, and for forensic collision and allision reconstruction analysis. He has attended on-site for numerous salvage and wreck removal operations in blue and brown water locations to support salvor efforts or to represent P&I Cub interests. He is fluent in Spanish which will be a great benefit for attendances in the region.
Allan has also worked on many port and harbour, up and downstream oil and gas, ship building, conversion, and repair projects worldwide for both contractors and project owners in the role of project manager undertaking design, construction, and installation. Much of his project experience has been as a Marine Warranty Surveyor to reduce project risks for project owners and their underwriters.
We are pleased to have Allan join our team to lead our operations in the Americas. Allan’s background further extends our rapid emergency response capabilities to better serve our clients globally.
