Royal Sovereign Lighthouse Decommissioning

This has been an exciting 5-year journey for us, with our first meeting with Trinity House’s team taking place in 2019.

Since then, Waves Group have advised Trinity House on a multitude of aspects for this challenging undertaking, including risk mitigation, costings, environmental aspects, safety, contract form, scope, tender evaluation and project management. The offshore and unusual nature of this project enabled Waves Group to bring to bear its wide range of technical expertise from across the offshore and maritime consultancy sectors.

Upon award of the decommissioning contract in 2023, Waves Group acted as Client Representative for Trinity House in addition to acting as the Principal Designer under the CDM 2015 Regulations.
