Collaborative Virtual Environments

Waves Group have taken things further with the use of Collaborative Virtual Environments, enabling multiple users to enter a virtual space online wherever they may be geographically located to explore a casualty on the seabed at 1:1 scale using VR headsets. This dynamic approach allows for interactive discussions, measurements, annotations, and virtual prototyping of operations, minimising costs and identifying potential issues early on. This innovative method contrasts with traditional linear information exchange, to mitigate against errors and assumptions – offering a more cost-effective solution to the issue at hand.
