WAVES GROUP AWARDED MARINE WARRANTY SURVEYOR CONTRACT ON VIETNAM’S TRA VINH NEARSHORE WIND FARM
Waves Group offshore marine consultancy are pleased to announce its involvement in the construction of the Tra Vinh nearshore wind farm in Vietnam. We are currently providing Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS) services for the installation of foundations, infield cables and WTGs. The contract commenced in June 2020 and will continue through to May 2021.
The project will be run from our Singapore office with support from our offices in the UK.
Located off the coast of Vietnam in the Tra Vinh province, the wind farm has a generating capacity of 48MW which is estimated to power over 132,000 households. The project company is Tra Vinh Wind Power Company Limited which is jointly owned by Climate Investor One’s (CIO) Construction Equity Fund, a finance facility managed by Climate Fund Managers (CFM), and Korea’s Samtan.
