Rob has 15 years’ seagoing experience sailing worldwide in various ranks on container vessels, fishery protection vessels, trailer suction hopper dredgers, expedition cruise ships and conducting extensive sea trials.

Before joining Waves Group, Rob provided marine consultancy for warship sea trials assisting in the delivery of newbuild patrol vessels to the Royal Navy, and the navies of Oman, Brazil, and Bahrain. This involved assisting in the preparation for various surveys and inspections before conducting an extensive programme of platform, machinery, and weapons trials.
At Waves Group Rob is a specialist in marine digital evidence providing digital outputs to support with operational maritime emergency response, incident response and legal case handling. He is also involved in the development and use of innovative digital tools focused on providing solutions to complex maritime problems.
