Roberto is a Naval Architect with significant project experience on Alternative Design Arrangements Consultancy and its commercial execution having achieved Approval in Principle and Final Investment Decision on behalf of his clients for the implementation of novel technologies. He also has warranty and Transportation and Installation experience on the offshore renewables industry. He is an Associate Member of the Royal Institution of Naval

He has achieved Approval in Principle and reached Final Investment Decision on behalf of clients on novel and alternative fuel and propulsion technologies. He has also supported multiple ScotWind winners on Transportation & Installation Operability, OPEX and CAPEX analysis as well as with Project Scheduling and Execution. He has also acted as Project Engineer and Deputy Project Manager on Offshore Wind MWS projects.
He is regularly involved in QRA approaches for wreck removals as well as Motion Response Analysis and has supported P&I clubs and law firms in casualties and claims. He has carried out risk-based E&L analysis on accidentally flooded cruise ships in a European Union multinational project.
He also has experience on engineering analysis conducting hydrodynamic and mooring analyses of floating wind structures and vessels. As well as trim, stability and Motion Response Analysis of vessels and cargo to assess their operability and safety.
He is also the recipient of the Scottish Renewables – Young Professional Green Energy Award on the Innovation Category and the Kirk Memorial Prize at the University of Strathclyde
